45 Young Stallions Ready for the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show
At the preliminary inspections in December, the Danish Warmblood Breeding Committees selected a total of 45 young stallions for the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show in Herning.

45 young stallions have passed the first crucial selection step on the road toward approval for breeding or testing at the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show in Herning from March 4–8.
In December, the Dressage Breeding Committee evaluated a total of 68 dressage stallions at three different locations. The preliminary inspections were held at Vilhelmsborg and Solrød Ridecenter, and parts of the Breeding Committee also carried out an extraordinary inspection of eight stallions at Randbøl Dressage Academy, which were in quarantine at the time the preliminary inspection took place at Vilhelmsborg.
In total, 29 dressage stallions were selected for the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show. The Dressage Breeding Committee consists of Vicky Nortvig, Bjarne Nielsen, Johnny Sørensen, and Rune Willum.

The Jumping Breeding Committee of Danish Warmblood has inspected 25 jumping stallions at two different locations, Vilhelmsborg and Mundberg Horses respectively. A total of 16 jumping stallions were selected for the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show. These stallions will be seen again by the Breeding Committee during free jumping at Vilhelmsborg on Sunday, February 1. The free jumping at Vilhelmsborg is part of the overall evaluation of the stallions toward potential approval in Herning. Spectators are welcome to attend the free jumping session, during which the judges will also engage in dialogue with stallion owners/trainers about the stallion’s development. The Jumping Breeding Committee consists of Johnny Hansen, Signe Wiese, Bo K. Møller, and Allan Blomgren.
