The Stallion Licensing
The selection of the stallions is particularly interesting. Here, breeders and riders can form an impression of the stallions and sport horses of the future.
The selection is open to stallions who do not already have a covering permit and who have the option of either obtaining a covering license for the year or being finally selected for breeding.
The stallions are divided into disciplines, and they are divided into three teams:
Team 1 for stallions, mainly 3-year-old stallions who have gained access to the stallion evaluation after pre-selection or via approval by the Breeding Committee.
Team 2 is for stallions who are 4 years old and have passed a performance test or are approved for testing.
Team 3 is for older stallions.
Judging of the young stallions
Team 1 (Jumping stallions selected during pre-selection)
• Voluntary riding test (if there are no comments on the rideability, approved stallions will be awarded a 1-year breeding approval on Sunday)

Team 1 (dressage stallions selected during preliminary inspection)

Team 3 (5-year-old and older jumping stallions with approved performance test)

Åge Ravn's trophy
Can be given to the top stallion at the performance test - 4- or 5-year-old dressage stallion, which is registered in Danish Warmblood.
Elvin Rasmussen's trophy
Can be given to the top stallion at the performance test - 4- or 5-year-old jumping stallion, which is registered in Danish Warmblood.
Stallion of the Year
Since 1998, the Danish Warmblood Breeding Board has appointed "Stallion of the Year". The award is given to a stallion who has made a special mark as a breeding stallion and possibly also as a sportshorse.
Hestens Værns Handler Medal
It is a tradition for Hestens Værn to award a Handler Medal every year. The breeding committee is responsible for the designation of the recipient, and here emphasis is placed on how the stallions have been presented during the licensing, whether on hard surface, lunge, loose, free jumping or handeling by hand.

MCH's Warmblood award
MCH's Warmblood award is given to one or more persons, associations or the like who have made an extraordinary effort for Danish Warmblood, for example in animal welfare, breeding, equestrian sports, etc.
Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte's Trophy
The trophy was established in 2005 and is awarded each year to a horse who is registered in the Danish Warmblood and who, through its own performance or as a sire or dam of competition horses, has made itself particularly noticeable in the previous calendar year.
