A Truly Enchanting Gala Show

The spectacular gala shows of Danish Warmblood, held in connection with the Stallion Licensing in Herning, are presented with a theme. This year, the gala shows will be truly enchanting.

For many years, the two popular gala shows at the Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing in Herning - taking place this year from March 4.–8. have followed an overarching theme. The same applies this year, as the show committee is well underway planning the Gala Show 2026 under the theme: Fairy Tales.

There is no doubt that they will create something magical for the audience when, with sound, lighting, costumes - and not least HORSES - they take us all into the wondrous world of fairy tales.

During the gala show, we will see horses performing in interaction with riders across several disciplines, and the committee has put great effort into finding acts and international performers we have not seen before. For all of us who love horses and enjoy experiencing them in different settings, this year’s gala show will be a truly special experience. The horse takes us on an adventure. We will relive the well-known fairy tales of childhood - laugh and cheer at contemporary stories - all supported by music and song. And once again, a well-known, professional master of ceremonies will guide us into the world of fairy tales.

Many of the spectacular performances are inspired by famous fairy tales written by the world’s greatest author in the genre: Hans Christian Andersen, as well as tales from the Brothers Grimm.

It is the Danish Warmblood Show Committee that puts together the festive gala shows, makes agreements with performers, riders, and horse owners, and sews and prepares the many beautiful costumes that can also be enjoyed during the spectacular shows. The committee consists of: Susanne Hvid, Søren Graversen, Lene Karmark, Janni Thermann, and Louise Ringsbo.

Two gala shows will be held during the Stallion Licensing - Friday and Saturday evenings. There is a very special atmosphere of excitement and anticipation before the show begins, and the approximately 9,000 guests inside Jyske Bank Boxen play a major role in creating a truly magical atmosphere.
