The show jumpers and their athletic horses help create an amazing atmosphere during Danish Warmblood Stallion Show. With nearly 25 jumping classes on the program spread across three show arenas, there is plenty for the audience to experience.

Riders compete for victories and placings, as well as valuable points for the world ranking and qualification for the EY Cup final for U25 riders. Already from Wednesday, show jumpers will be in action in all three arenas: Jyske Bank Boxen, KRAFFT Arena M, and Dansk Hesteforsikrings Arena E.

National and international profiles

Over the years, it has become a tradition that several of the sport’s top show jumping profiles attend Danish Warmblood Stallion Show in Herning, which this year takes place from March 4–8.

The organizers are pleased with the strong support for the event and the great interest in competing in Herning. The competition is held at 1-star and 3-star level, known to insiders as CSI3*, CSI1*, CSIYH, CSIJY, CSIU25, as well as the final of the KRAFFT Tour of Amateurs. Translated into more accessible terms: international show jumping classes at 3-star and 1-star level, classes for young horses, junior/young riders, U25 riders, and the exciting KRAFFT Tour of Amateurs for 25 qualified amateur riders.

Earn world ranking points in Herning

The biggest classes, and those where riders can earn points for the Longines world ranking, take place in the 3-star tour, which culminates with the Stutteri Ask Grand Prix in the Jyske Bank Boxen on Saturday at midday. In addition, there are three more classes where riders can earn world ranking points: on Friday morning in the Ifor Williams Big Tour at 150 cm, and on Sunday afternoon in the Medium Tour Final at 145 cm – both held in the Boxen. Ranking points are also at stake in the EY Cup final for U25 riders.
